Polylactic Acid (PLA) is a non-fossil fuel in-put material with strong, yet light-weight characteristics, perfectly chemically engineered for single-piece filling trays.

A 100% renewable resource thermo-plastic, degradable and industrial compostable, is certifiable to ASTM D64000-99 or ASTM D6868-03 as compostable.

Seven Fillings Trays are currently available using this environmentally sound material.

As research continues on new Thermo-Plastics, advances in new blends of PLA, PHA and others, we will be consistent in our testing and evaluation of appropriate non-fossil plastics for our industry.
